Hi, I’m Lian (she/her)!
Hi, I’m Lian (she/her)—a yoga teacher and occupational therapist passionate about inclusive, whole-person care.
As a transracial Chinese adoptee raised in a predominantly white community, I understand how important it is to feel seen, supported, and safe. That’s why I create spaces—on and off the mat—where people of all backgrounds, bodies, and identities can reconnect with themselves, feel empowered, and move through life with more ease.
I discovered yoga over 13 years ago in Dharamsala, India, and it’s stayed with me ever since. I’m trained in therapeutic yoga, sensory-enhanced trauma-informed yoga, yin yoga, and restorative yoga, and I love weaving these practices into my occupational therapy work.
I specialize in working with:
Individuals with neurological conditions
Nervous system dysregulation
People navigating life transitions—including fellow adoptees
I hold a B.S. in Psychology from George Mason University and an M.S. in Occupational Therapy from the University of New Hampshire. I’ve completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training at Down Under Yoga in Massachusetts and a 300-hour advanced training in therapeutic yoga at Be The Change Yoga in California.
Now based in beautiful Los Angeles, California, I offer:
OT and yoga sessions at Re+Active Physical Therapy in El Segundo
Group yoga classes at Soul Play Yoga in Culver City
Private yoga and OT services (in-person at home and online)
Online/ in person offerings for BIPOC adoptees and those living with Dysautonomia
Whether we’re working together through yoga, OT, or both—my goal is to help you feel more connected to your body, your rhythms, and what matters most to you.
✨ Let’s create space for healing, balance, and belonging—together.
